Sarah’s research led her to discover another way to symbolise fire: through three colours (blue, yellow and red, representing oxygen, heat and fuel). Artistically, Sarah uses the simplicity of these primary colours to nod to the Bauhaus and to teach us about fire risks with a beautiful yet graphic pattern.

About the Artist

Sarah Boris is an artist and designer based in London. After working for over ten years for world-renowned arts and publishing institutions such as Phaidon, ICA, and the Barbican, she set up her art and design studio in 2015, with a focus on public art commissions and creating new artworks, including screen-printed editions, sculptures, paintings, letterpress, books and more.
